Historical approach to the Muslim Games of Pruchena

This text studies the sources and commentaries of diferente authors on the Moriscos Games that were celebrated in front of the city of Purchena, and that gathers Ginés Pérez de Hita in its work “Civil wars of Granada”. The fact is located in its historical context and the different sport actions are detailed that it is said comes from the Clasic Grece Olympic Games.
