Los orígenes del Unión Deportiva Almeria C.F., 1923
Abstract
Durante los años veinte el fútbol vivió una fase de máxima expansión a causa de que España obtuvo en los Juegos Olímpicos de Amberes (1920) la medalla de plata. Una competición en la que nace el mito de “la furia española”, y de la que puede citarse jugadores como Ricardo Zamora, José María Belausteguigoitia (Belauste), Acedo, Artola, Patricio, Pichichi, Arrate, Eguiazábal, Vázquez, Sancho, Sabino, Vallna, Pagazaurtundia (Pagaza), Samitier, Sesúmaga y Otero.
