Abstract

Este volumen colectivo es el resultado de las actividades realizadas por el antiguo Comité Permanente sobre Familias, Niños, Niñas y Jóvenes Migrantes de IMISCOE (Red Internacional de Migración, Integración y Cohesión Social), entre 2014 y 2019. La publicación parte de la idea de que “la migración es fundamentalmente un asunto de familia”, aunque la investigación específica no surgió hasta la década de 1980. Los autores son conscientes de la necesidad urgente de aportaciones sobre el tema desde el estudio de las migraciones.
