Already deep into the Middle Ages, Isidoro de Sevilla tells us, through his masterpiece titled the Etymologies, the reality of the times in which he lives. Aim of this paper will be exclusively meet the view that has one of the most important characters of the Patristic about the games and shows of that time in order to be able to value it.
