Football and politics: reflections of a complex relationship through the Thinking Football Film Festival

Abstract

This article will analyze the complex and discussed relationship between football and politics based on what some of the films that were shown at the Thinking Football Film Festival 2015. In them is reflected perfectly the multiplicity of political stakeholders of football, which will give rise to consider whether this sport and its highest authority, FIFA, have their own political commitment.
