Materiales para la historia del deporte (e-ISSN 2340-7166) brings together studies and researches related to the origins and evolution of the physical activities, with the main object of promoting its dissemination in the scientific community of Spanish speaking and recovering part of our common historical sports heritage.
Archiving
The journal develops various procedures aimed at ensuring the permanent accessibility to the contents hosted in its servers:
- Backup copies
- Monitoring the technological aspects to prevent potential conversions of format or obsolete software.
- Digital preservation metadata.
- Using Digital Object Identifier (DOI).
- Using as an editorial manager software Open Journal Systems (OJS), an open source software with the interoperability protocol OAI-PHM ( Open Archive Initiative-Protocol for Metadata Harvesting).
- The Journal has electronic backup and preservation of access to the content via PKP Preservation Network (PN).
