Materiales para la historia del deporte (e-ISSN 2340-7166) brings together studies and researches related to the origins and evolution of the physical activities, with the main object of promoting its dissemination in the scientific community of Spanish speaking and recovering part of our common historical sports heritage.

Materials for the History of Sport is committed to the use of inclusive and non-sexist language.
Authors are recommended to use style guides, such as those included in the work Guidelines for the non-sexist use of language prepared by the Spanish Ministry of Equality.
It is recommended that gender-differentiated data be noted in the works if they exist from the source of origin.
