Deporte y educación en la Grecia clásica

En el presente texto se presentan las ideas desarrolladas por Platón sobre un proyecto ideal en el que la educación física y la práctica del deporte tienen un carácter central en la educación del individuo ya que permite el desarrollo de los valores morales e incluso de las cualidades intelectuales haciendo ciertos paralelismos con el Movimiento Olímpico ideado por Pierre de Cobuertin.
