Introduction to the history of sports in the Ancient China

Sports in traditional China were very diverse and have a long history. However, their research and study in both Eastern and Western languages has been absent until the early years of this century. With this small article we intend to make an approach to the history of sports in China focusing on describing the great variety of sports. We will also focus on the sports of most cultural importance, such as archery, zuqiu (football), or martial arts.Downloads
