In Cuba, Baseball has been declared as “The National Sport”, it was not only for a simple initiative but due to its almost generalized practice through the different Cuban generations and due to the interest shown by most of the Cuban people for the results got in the National Series and international events where Cuba Team has played roles worthy of the history of its country. That’s why, it’s necessary to compile, in a written paper, the most significant facts in the development of this sport, as well as the athletes’ history who have contributed to the glories got for it. There are constituting objectives of this research; to compile, arrange and value the most relevant aspects of Ariel Osvaldo Pestano Valdés’ sport career, glory of Cuban Baseball. The research done is appropriated and up to dated in which are chronologically arranged the relevant data, considerations and assessments about that relevant athlete, who not only represented Villa Clara team in a good way but also put Cuba’s name in a high position with his performance in the National Team.
