Technology in construction enhances work quality and demands continuous professional development. Mastering digital tools streamlines processes and improves management in a competitive market.
In 2015, the College of Technical Architecture of Barcelona (Cateb) developed the electronic version of the Incident Log, aligned with RD 1627/1997 on construction site safety. Designed for safety and health coordinators, this tool simplifies log management and fosters collaboration among all stakeholders (project managers, developers, site supervisors, prevention technicians, etc.).
Since its launch in 2016, over 15,000 Web Incident Logs have been processed, with more than 14,000 active users. Liweb has evolved and is widely adopted, particularly by engineers outside Barcelona. This accumulated experience and recent updates make it valuable to present Liweb at a technical architecture congress, showcasing its impact on improving construction project management and communication.
