LA ERMITA Y LA MESA DE LOLA = LOLA’S SHRINE AND TABLE
Abstract
La ermita de Lola es el proyecto de un monumento de hormigón en un jardín privado de Madrid. Se trata de construir una gran roca artificial de hormigón blanco, con un vaciado en su interior. En el mismo jardín, aparece una gran mesa para acoger a toda la familia. En ambos proyectos, la elección del hormigón como único material resulta esencial. De algún modo, el proyecto materializa las cualidades intrínsecas del hormigón haciéndolas propias.
Abstract
Lola's shrine is the project of a concrete monument in a private garden in Madrid. It consists of building a large artificial rock of white concrete, with a void inside. In the same garden, a large table appears to accommodate the whole family. In both projects, the choice of concrete as the only material is essential. In a way, the project materializes the intrinsic qualities of concrete, making them its own.
