Introducción a la historia de los deportes en la China Antigua

Los deportes en la tradicional China fueron de gran variedad así como tienen una larga trayectoria histórica. No obstante, su investigación y estudio, tanto en lenguas orientales como occidentales, ha permanecido ausente hasta no bien entrados los primeros años de este siglo. Con este pequeño articulo pretendemos hacer un acercamiento a la historia de los deportes en China centrándonos en describir la rica variedad que hubo. A su vez nos centraremos en aquellos que tuvieron más importancia cultural, como el tiro con arco, el zuqiu (balompié) o las artes marciales.
