Variaciones de la proporción de proteína bruta y de proteína digestible del cultivar Aragón (Medicago sativa L.) en sus diferentes ciclos de vegetación

Durante los años 1970 y 1971 se han estudiado las variaciones de la proporción de proteína bruta y digestible del cultivar Aragón en sus diferentes ciclos de vegetación. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que en todos los ciclos las proporciones de proteína digestible disminuyeron regularmente a lo largo del crecimiento y desarrollo de la planta, desde 29 a 17,1%, en 1970, y desde 30,6 a 17,3 %, en 1917, la primera, y desde 24,1 a 12,8 % y 25,6 a 13 %, respectivamente, la segunda. Asimismo, el ciclo de vegetación influyó significativamente (P < 0,01) sobre aquellas proporciones, correspondiendo los valores más elevados al último ciclo de los dos años considerados.

S U M M A R Y

During the years 1970 and 1971 variations of crude and digestible protein contents of lucerne Aragón cultivar at different stages of growth and vegetation cicles have been studied. Digestible protein have been estimated applying the regression ecuation of Demarquilly.
Dry matter basis, crude protein regularly decreased from 29,0 % to 17,1 % in 1970 and from 30,6 % to 17,3 % in 1971 in all the cycles studied as the maturity of the plant advanced. The digestible protein decreased from 24,1 % to 12,8 % and from 25,6 % to 13,0 % respectively.
The crude and digestible protein contents of samples taken at the same stage of growth varied with the cycles (P < 0,01), the percentage being the highest in the last cycles of the two years.
