Variaciones de la proporción y composición de la fracción fibra de la alfalfa Aragón en sus diferentes ciclos de crecimiento

R E S U M E N

Se ha realizado un estudio sobre las variaciones de la proporción y composición de la fracción fibra del cultivar Aragón en sus diferentes ciclos de crecimiento. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que en todos los ciclos, excepto en el último, las proporciones de fibra (21,4-77,3%), celulosa (13,3-25,1%) y lignina (7,9-12,4%) aumentaron regularmente a lo largo del crecimiento y desarrollo de la planta. La lignina fue el componente que tuvo un incremento relativo más elevado (56,8 %). Por último, el ciclo de crecimiento influyó sobre la evolución y composición de la fibra.

S U M M A RY

Each of the five plots with a Latin square design 5 x 5 have been succesively used from the first to the fifth cycle of vegetation.

Acid detergent fiber, cellulose and permanganate lignin content of D. M. of cuts taken at 20-30 cm. and 30-40 cm. height, pred-bud, early flower and full flower stages throught each cycle of vegetation increased regularly with stage of growth and development. The mean values for the five cycles of vegetation ranged from 21 % to 37 % the acid detergent fiber, from 13,3 % to 25,1 % the cellulose and from 7,9 % to 12,4 % the permanganate lignin for the cuts taken at 20-30 cm. in height and full flower, respectively. Lignin showed the higher relative increase (56,8 %).

The relative amount and the composition of fiber fraction varied significantly with the cycle of vegetation.
