Resumen

Resumen: A comienzos de los años cuarenta los almerienses recuperan su interés por el deporte fundando múltiples equipos de fútbol. La pequeña dimensión de estos equipos impide poder alcanzar un nivel aceptable en la competición nacional. Por eso, los líderes políticos locales franquistas intervienen fundando un equipo que reunirá a los mejores jugadores. La acción de los Gobernadores civiles será determinante; intervención que llevará incluso a renombrar como Presidente del club al Delegado Provincial de Sindicatos franquista.

Durante el periodo estudiado la situación económica y sanitaria es muy deficiente; también los procesos judiciales contra la Seguridad del Estado se incrementan a fines del decenio en Almería. Fuera del país, los Aliados debaten la posibilidad de intervenir para derribar el régimen de Franco. En este contexto de problemas económicos, sociales y políticos, los poderes públicos vieron la necesidad de mediatizar el Deporte al objeto de utilizarlo como estabilizador social.

Abstract: At the beginning of the forties the natives of Almeria recover their interest by sport founding multiple clubs of football. The small dimensión of these teams prevents them to be able to reach and aceptable level in the national competition. Because ofi t, the political pro-Franco local leaders will intervene founding a club that Will assemble the best players. The action of the civil Governors Will be determinant; intervention that will even take to name like President of the club pro-franco Provincial Delegate of Unions.

During the studied period the economic and sanitary situation is very deficient; the judicial processes against the Segurity of State increase at the end of the decade in Almeria. Out of the country, the Allies debate the possibility of intervening to knock down Franco’s regime. In this contexto f economic, social and political problems, the public Powers saw the need to control the Sport in order to use it as social stabilizer.
